Just a quick one today. We found lots of lovely paper and spent a fun half an hour talking about Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter while making this. Together we decided to make four trees – one for each season. We talked about colours, shapes, leaves, blossom, ripped up paper, used a lot of glue and stuck it all on together. I do usually leave the ‘little girls’ to create there own thing but sometimes it is nice to do something together – although I tend to let the children take the lead.
I love the way we couldn’t quite fit all the tree onto the picture, but it didn’t stop us, and we just added a branch on the side!
Enid Blyton Rating: 8 out of 10 (Lovely to make something together and a nice meandering chat while we got creative).
